Frequently Asked Questions

How do I refer a patient?
You can refer by email, fax or post, or use the referral enquiry form below. Patients can also contact the clinic directly — no referral is strictly required, though a referral letter helps us target the assessment.
What conditions do you manage?
The full spectrum of vestibular and balance disorders — BPPV, vestibular migraine, Ménière's disease, vestibular neuritis and labyrinthitis, PPPD, Mal de Débarquement syndrome (MdDS), bilateral vestibulopathy, POTS and other forms of postural dizziness, post-concussion dizziness, medication-induced dizziness, dizziness related to anxiety, falls and imbalance in older adults, and rarer conditions such as vestibular paroxysmia, semicircular canal dehiscence and vestibular schwannoma.
What assessment do you provide?
Comprehensive history, bedside neuro-otological examination, and recorded vestibular function testing (oculomotor testing, vHIT, VEMPs, positional testing) with validated symptom scales.
Will I receive a report?
Yes — a detailed letter after the assessment with the diagnosis, investigation results, management plan, and any onward referrals.
How does a vestibular physician differ from a neurologist or ENT surgeon?
Vestibular medicine bridges general practice and subspecialty care, providing dedicated diagnostic clarity for dizziness and coordinating management — referring on to neuro-otology, ENT or neurology only when needed, reducing the burden on those subspecialties.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth consultations let patients who cannot easily travel to our Sydney clinic locations access expert vestibular care without unnecessary travel.
